It all began in Madrid...

Initially started as an outlet to build a stronger community through the act of giving and supporting local charities, Seattle Chef Joe was founded as Not Haute Catering in 2011.

With the Belief that Fresh Ingredients and Elegance should be available to anyone, at anytime, anywhere, Seattle Chef Joe set out on his mission to build a Community one plate, and one household at a time.

In 2014 the seeds of this thought, desire, and concept really started to move forward, and so did Chef Joe’s focus. It shifted from Brick & Mortar Establishments into the Private Residences.

The difference for my Clients lay in the fact that they know everything presented to them is hand selected from local vendors. Every Client is Unique, and it is my intention to embrace that uniqueness, and reflect it in the ingredients I personally select for them.

My drive and passion for this Industry really took hold of me in 1993. Starting as a dishwasher and working my way through all the positions of a kitchen.

I have been very fortunate to share the kitchen with some really awesome people throughout the years.

My quest for learning and always trying to answer the question “what’s next” has led me through the Southwest, Northwest, and Madrid.

It continually drives me to deliver a unique Experience for my clients that they will not find duplicated anywhere else. A blended balance between the perfect ingredients and the highest level of Hospitality brought to your door.

Chef Bruno is long time Seattle transplant originally from Philadelphia. He brings 30 + years of Restaurant Industry experience and flavors to the Families and Events of Seattle Chef Joe.

One of his most notable stints in Seattle was as his role as Executive Chef for Tango on Capitol Hill.

From small plates to larger events, he consistently provides excellent service and flavors. Don't be fooled by his reserved nature, he knows kitchens!



Chef Gerry is a recent Seattle Transplant coming to us from California.

He started working in Restaurants about 12 years ago when migrating from Mexico to San Juan Capistrano. Starting in the Pantry of an Italian Restaurant, over the course of the next year he excelled to Pizza, Grill then Saute before becoming front of the house Manager and Catering Manager.

In 2016 he moved to Seattle and shortly after, joined us at Seattle Chef Joe for events and catering. He has since also worked with some of our Weekly Families.
