Seattle Chef Joe's FAQs

Happy 2016 Everyone!

As we go into the New Year, and I get a lot of questions about Seattle Chef Joe Pricing, and Services, I thought I would attempt to clarify this for everyone.

Weekly (Bi Monthly, Monthly) Personal Chef Services FAQ:

  1. What does it include?

  2. We work with you to design menu’s that work for your family’s diet. Whether you are Paleo, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan, or eat whatever you want, we do it all.

Planning: It all starts with the Menu Proposal, where we send you what we are thinking for your household, then we ask that you have any changes back to us 2 days prior to service so we can plan the shopping.

Shopping: Next is the shopping, we generally take care of that for. We shop according to your wishes; #Organic, #FreeRange, #WholeFoods, #Safeway, we want take that role for you.

Cooking: We travel to your house, and cook in your kitchen.

Clean Up & Packaging: We clean up after ourselves & put everything in the fridge. Basically the only way you should know we were there, is by you having delicious food prepared for you in your fridge. We also do #Crockpot Meals, so you can have something ready when you get home.

  1. How much does it cost to have a Seattle Personal Chef?

  2. We charge Groceries + Time. Groceries are not marked up at all, but the exact cost. Time includes Shopping, Travel, Cooking, & Cleaning. While we do our best to shop smart for you, we are even more mindful to push the #Culinary Limits without stretching the time.

  3. Can I add or change meals?

  4. Yes! The worst thing we can do is charge you for something you don’t want. We want you to be as excited to eat, as we are to cook for you. We continually ask our family’s for feedback so we can give you the best meals around. Some of our craziest and tastiest meals have been designed by listening to what our Family’s want to try, and working make that happen. We are not stingy when it comes to the portions, so please let us know if you would like smaller portions.

  5. Can you cook for multiple dietary issues under one roof?

  6. Yes! Everyone of our #SeattleChefJoe Family’s is extremely important to us. We figure you can go to any restaurant and settle for something to eat. We don’t want you to settle, and we’re not looking to over schedule ourselves. We would rather spend time focusing on each of our family’s. Essentially we believe that if you are going to do something, then do it well!
